Description
This is a monster LP - it's from The Rolling Stones and it's incedibly rare - released on the UK Decca label in the 1968 the record is entitled 'Beggars Banquet' (catalogue no. SKL 4955). The gatefold sleeve is laminated on both sides and has a great colour photo of the band 'banqueting' in the middle with some slight wear on the front and back. The sleeve has been graded as VG++ while the original inner bag also gets a VG++ grading. The record plays superbly on both sides and features the red and silver labels (which show minimal spindle marks) with the unboxed Decca logos and also gets a VG++ grading. I think this is very unusual because I thought that Decca stereo recordings from the 1960's were always pressed on blue labels. The matrix numbers are XZAL-8476-IK and XZAL-8477-2K. If you're a serious Stones fan you need to have this record in your collection. I am going to set a realistic reserve price.
