ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING FROM 1966
RARE MONO COPY WITH THE BOOKLET IN SUPERB NEAR MINT CONDITION
Original MONO FIRST PRESSING FROM 1966
On the unique pale blue/turquoise Un-Boxed Decca label with the gatefold sleeve and 12" by 12" Booklet and Original inner sleeve !
Decca TXL 101
Matrix numbers :- SIDE 1 :- XARL-7503-2A SIDE 2 :- XARL-7504-4A
Stamper codes are SIDE 1:- 1 / BG; SIDE 2:- 1 / BG.
SLEEVE
The original FULLY LAMINATED1966 UK Robert Stace gatefold sleeve is in SUPERB EXCELLENT PLUS condition !
It has only the very slightest of wear at the top and bottom edges. There is slight wear on the corners. There are NO rips and NO seam splits. There is NO ringwear, NO discolouration and NO grubbiness. There are NO stains and NO stickers or sticker damage. There is NO writing and NO wear to the opening edge which is firm and unfeathered ! Finally, there is NO wear to the perfectly square spine !
The only blemishes are a couple of slight creases at the opening and at lower front spine. The inside of the gatefold contains the 12" by 12" stapled booklet with UNRUSTED STAPLES ! Often these are awfully rusted over but these are gleaming ! AN ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT SLEEVE and booklet ! VINYL
Visually the record looks to be in STUNNING NEAR MINT condition with NO marks or scratches and only a few light hairlines. Under a bright light a lot of fine hairlines are visible. It plays superbly well with a little background noise in the very quiet parts and no distortion with no skips or jumps.SOUNDS SUPERB LOUD ! Vinyl beats CD anyday !
BEAUTIFUL THICK HEAVY VINYL WITH SHINE AND VERY GLOSSY FINISH !
Overall VINYL STRICTLY GRADED AS EXCELLENT PLUS.
LABELS
The original pale blue Un-boxed DECCA label's are fine and STRICTLY GRADED AS EXCELLENT with some spindle marks visible. They are lovely and clean with no unwanted writing, no scuffs and the spindle hole shows minimal wear. - see scans.
The original 1966 Decca inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition, lovely and clean with NO unwanted writing and NO seam splits.
Altogether a great copy of this original 1966 UK MONO LP by THE ROLLING STONES
