ROLLING STONES Beggars Banquet DECCA LK 4955 MONO Made in England 1968 A beautiful collector's copy of this classic LP. This is the most sought after pressing - 1st UK MONO on red "unboxed" Decca label. Side A stampers: XARL-8476-4A Side B stampers: XARL-8477-2A CONDITION Record Jacket: Overall condition of the jacket is quite nice. No writing, stickers, seam splits, rips, tears, or ringwear issues. There is a minor crease on the top right corner, and some tiny creases along the left edge. There is minor corner and edge handling wear. The spine is entirely in tact and readable. The back cover has a small scuff on Mick Jagger's name. All of these issues are very minor, and as a whole the jacket looks great. I would rate it conservatively at EX- or better. Vinyl (play graded and evaluated under a bright light): Very clean and shiny copy. Faint hairlines apparent under bright light. Little to no surface noise, plays loud and powerfully. Labels have a few faint spindle marks under bright light but are otherwise perfect. CONSERVATIVELY I'd call it EX or 8.5/10 BID with confidence - return if unsatisfied. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
