On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called "Between The Buttons" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK 'Factory Sample' TEST Pressing on the IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'Factory Sample' TEST Press 'Grooved' Decca labels!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE THE ROLLING STONES RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE 'TEST PRESSING' OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP - AND HAS TO BE REGARDED AS THE RAREST ROLLING STONES LP EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - EVER!!!!  JUST FINDING A STANDARD 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN NICE CONDITION IS VERY HARD INDEED - BUT FINDING AN ULTRA RARE 'TEST PRESSING' IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  ONLY A ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL (NO MORE THAN 2 OR 3 COPIES ONLY!) OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - WERE EVER MADE AS 'TEST PRESSINGS', TO TEST THE SOUND QUALITY & MIX OF THE LP PRIOR TO FINAL APPROVAL!!!!  ONLY AFTER THIS 'TEST PRESSING' WAS FINALLY APPROVED - COULD THE 1ST PRESSING RUN BEGIN!!!!  AND UNLIKE LATER 1970s 'WHITE LABEL' TEST PRESSING LPs (WHICH WERE OFTEN SENT OUT TO RADIO STATIONS AS PROMOS) - 1960s DECCA TEST PRESSINGS WERE NEVER SENT OUT FROM THE FACTORY, AND USUALLY DESTROYED STRAIGHT AFTER THE MIX HAD BEEN APPROVED!!!!  LUCKILY IN THIS CASE, THIS LP WAS 'RESCUED' FROM DESTRUCTION BY A HIGH RANKING EX-DECCA EMPLOYEE - AND ENDED UP IN HIS COLLECTION, UNTIL I ACCQUIRED IT LAST WEEK!!!!  INCIDENTALLY - IT IS A VERY WELL KNOWN FACT, THAT NO DECCA TEST PRESSINGS FROM THIS PERIOD EVER CAME WITH COVERS.  LUCKILY THIS DECCA EMPLOYEE GRABBED A COVER TO MATCH THE RECORD, AND ALTHOUGH IT IS A MONO COVER - IT HARDLY MATTERS!!!!  AND IT IS WORTH NOTING THAT THIS IS THE ONLY TEST PRESSING I HAVE EVER SEEN OF THIS LP EVER!!!!  OVER THE YEARS - I HAVE SEEN ONLINE ALMOST EVERY OTHER ROLLING STONES LP TURN UP AS A TEST PRESSING (THOUGH OBVIOUSLY NOT MANY!) - BUT I HAVE I NEVER SEEN ONE FOR THIS LP EVER!!!!  AND OF COURSE (LIKE MOST OTHER ROLLING STONES TEST PRESSINGS) IT IS LIKELY TO HAVE TRACK TIMING DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO THE RELEASED VERSION - AND EVEN DIFFERENT MIXES ASWELL!!!!  I ONLY WISH I HAD ANOTHER 'STANDARD' COPY TO COMPARE IT WITH - BUT I HAVE TAKEN SOME CLOSE UP PICTURES OF THE 'GROOVES' ON EACH SIDE - SO IT SHOULD BE EASY TO COMPARE TO ANY STANDARD 1ST PRESSING (IF YOU HAVE ONE), AND IF THE GROOVES LOOK DIFFERENT - THEN THIS LP UNDOUBTEDLY HAS TRACK TIMING / MIX DIFFERENCES!!!!  AND CLEARLY SHOWING THAT THIS 'TEST PRESSING' IS 100% GENIUNE IN EVERY WAY - IT HAS 1/B 1/B MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS - WHICH WERE THE 'EARLIEST' EVER!!!!  SO MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT - THIS HAS TO BE THE RAREST ROLLING STONES LP EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - AND MUST BE REGARDED AS A TRUE 'ONCE IN A LIFETIME' OPPORTUNITY!!!!  

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK STEREO TEST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'FACTORY SAMPLE' 'GROOVED' DECCA TEST PRESS LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1B/1B MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'JAMES UPTON' LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SKL 4852 on the ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press 'Factory Sample' 'Grooved' Decca 'Test Press' label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 MEGA light hairlines, only 1 VERY light scuffline, only 2 or 3 ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'James Upton' Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, shiny laminate, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
