The ROLLING STONES - BETWEEN THE BUTTONS
An eminently presentable and lovely condition copy of this 1967 UK 1st press Rolling Stones gem with impressive MONO sound quality throughout
Year/Label : 1967 UK DeccaLabel number : MONO LK 4786
Matrix numbers : XARL-7644-5A / XARL-7645-6A with the KT tax code stamped on each side
Stampers : 3 8 B 11 / 4 0 B G
1967 UK 1st press Rolling Stones classic : glossy very good plus (VG+) condition jet black sheen vinyl with just a few very light scuff marks (mostly paper scuffs) and wispy hairlines on each side, only visible with close scrutiny under a bright light, and nothing feelable or obviously below the surface as borne out by the excellent MONO sound quality except for a small 5mm just feelable scratch on side 2 which results in x15 light clicks at the beginning of B3. Virtually unmarked early press deep groove labels with just a few very faint spindle trails on each side. lst press very good plus (VG+) condition front-side laminated James Upton outer sleeve with firm edges - just a few small light scuff marks on the top edge and the odd light laminate crease on the spine - and nicely right angled corners with minimal rubbing. There are some 1-2 cm light laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the edges on the front side and some mild age discolouration towards the edges on the reverse side. The MONO audio quality is very good plus (VG+) with no skips, sticks, repeats, or jumps and just the aforementioned x15 mild rotational clicks at the beginning of B3. Any background crackle is occasional, absolutely minimal and barely intrusive at all - negligible in fact, with every track remaining an excellent listen. Comes with original and excellent condition poly-lined "THE EQUIPMENT" inner sleeve with no seam splits, barely any creasing, and some minor age discolouration. Hard to believe that this record is now 56 years of age with these UK MONO 1st pressings now more collectable than ever before.
Overall nice condition with minor blemishes only, and a great listen. POSTAGE COSTS :
For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;
for continental Europe £13 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,
and for the rest of the world £19 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.
I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.
Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 53 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
