Description

First mono pressing with unboxed Decca Logo, ridged label, sleeve with stapled in booklet, without mono/stereo ‘peephole’ in rear and with “mono” printed on spine

matrix no’s / stampers are;

XARL-7503 1A & XARL 7504-4A

KT tax code stamped at 12 o’clock

The vinyl looks EX, clean with nice shine, just some light surface marks under strong light. Play tested on my Rega it sounded superb with clear strong audio throughout. The only issue of note was a couple of clicks between tracks 1.2 & 1.3, no other clicks, no jumps, no significant crackle, there was silence in most of the other gaps.

The vinyl has been cleaned on my pro-ject VC-S cleaning machine using non-alcohol based fluid and is stored in a brand new antistatic lined inner.

The gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition, the booklet is fully intact with no loose or torn pages and the spine is fully legible. The sleeve has the thin front flap which has a small area of damage front top right, see photo. Apart from that everything is fine with just light wear .

Please see photos

I’m also selling some other Stones vinyl from my collection, see my other listings.

Happy to combine postage for Uk buyers.

If you have any questions please ask.

-----------------

Gradings refer to the UK Record Collector Magazine standard (shown below). I would only use "mint" for genuinely unplayed records. Visual grading is done under a spotlight. Play testing is done on my Pro-ject or Rega turntable.

If buyer is not satisfied for any reason please contact me, I will refund on safe return of item.

Record will be packaged in a proper mailer with stiffening. I will pack with the record removed from the outer sleeve.

Mint (M) - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
