Description
VERY RARE test pressing of "DANCE pt. 1", and "DANCE pt.2" on the Speciaity Records Corporation label. Date stamped Nov. 18, 1980. These songs were never released as a 45- 7" single, only as a 12" promo single. The camera flash really lightened up the photos of the labels. They're not really that light.
VERY RARE and in UNPLAYED MINT condition!
A test pressing is made after the band makes an acetate. If they like what they hear on the acetate and decide to go further with the project they make a test pressing to hear what the song will sound like on vinyl. These are made in very limited quantities. After the test pressing the promo copies are pressed to send out to radio stations etc., then the store, or stock copies are pressed that we purchase, or at least used to, at the record store.
