LOOK! 1A AND 3A MATRIX! MEGA EARLY MOTHER STAMPERS!!!! THE EARLIEST PRODUCE THE BEST EVER AUDIO QUALITY!!!THIS PLAYS AWESOME,TOP AUDIO ON MY SYSTEM! UNBELEIVABLE LOUD CUT AUDIO ON ALL FREQUENCIES!!!

Another from my personal collection, I have owned this copy for over 35 years and this has been stored in a case with the vinyl and sleeve seperated from the cover which has obviously preserved the album from normal horrible, storage ware!!  Played a few times at loud volume with a dedicated mono cartridge, this vinyl is a joy to listen to, absolute stunning cristal clear and vibrant top audio throughout, this copy will be hard to surpass, without any clicks, ticks or pops at all! Visually the cover ,record  sleeve and has light ware with age only but this is complete and totally original. It is my opinion that visualy and audibly this vinyl has been played but certainly not over played, the audio speaks for itself! Becoming impossible to find like this! Look mega early 1A 3A Matrix endings!

The Rolling Stones are an English band whose blues, rhythm and blues and rock and roll-infused music became popular during the "British Invasion" in the early 1960s!!.

The band was formed in London in 1962 by Brian Jones, and eventually was led by the songwriting partnership of singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards!.

During their 1969 American tour, the Stones were introduced and have often been referred to subsequently as "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World", and their early image of unkempt and surly youth is one that many musicians still emulate. The band have released 55 albums of original work[ and compilations, and have had 37 top-10 singles They have sold over 200 million albums worldwide!!!

On 12 July 1962 the group played its first gig at the Marquee club in London, billed as "The Rollin' Stones". The line-up was Jagger, Richards, Brian Jones, Ian Stewart on piano, Taylor on bass and Mick Avoryon drums!.

Jones intended for the band to play primarily Chicago blues, but Jagger and Richards brought the rock 'n roll of Chuck BerrY and Bo Diddley to the band After shifting formations, bassist Bill Wyman would join later that December and drummer Charlie Watts the following January and would became the Stones' long standing rhythm section In June 1963 the band released their first UK single, a cover of Berry's "Come On".

The Beatles recommended the Stones to future manager Andrew Loog Oldham, and George Harrison who encouraged Decca Records to sign the band!..

Their first EP, The Rolling Stones and album (also titled The Rolling Stones, except in the US where it was titled England's Newest Hit Makers), were comprised primarily of covers drawn from the band's live repertoire. After signing with Decca, the Stones began touring the U.K. and Europe. On their first tour of England, the Stones were packaged with American stars including Ike and Tina Turner, Bo Diddley, The Ronettes, The Everly Brothers and Little Richard!!!!!!.

THE VINYL

This is the original and heavier and thicker\deeper grooved type of vinyl only found on these early pressings!!! Later press were much more flimsier and less robust.

On visual inspection the vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and still retains its original sheen from new. On initial inspection it is hard to see a blemish at all the playing surface is beautiful. Unbeleivable to find!. Any marks that could possibly be seen angled to strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal only\scuff marks only! Importantly I can see (no) needle or audio sounding marks at all!!

The audio quality

I have played this vinyl track for track four times at very loud volume prior to listing, on a top system using a dedicated mono cartridge. In my opinion it is obvious to me that visualy and audibly from the moment that the needle hits the playing surface that this vinyl has not been overplayed , A rare thing to see or find on early Stones albums!

The audio is awesome cristal clear and vibrant through out! (IN FACT THIS IS GRADED AT THE TOP VERY NEAR PERFECT ON MY SYSTEMS, without  click or pops!) Please note! With (no) signs of distortion or any signs of grooveware! This plays with no loud clicks and i never heard any background crackle or distortion at all during the audio at all, such as real pleasure to play, I really wanted to play and play this album over and over again!!. There was perhapes, the odd static in some quiet parts at the most static crackle  but even in between tracks background noise is extreemely minimal (VERY NEAR PERFECT ON MY SYSTEM, AND I WOULD CLASS MYSELF AS HIGHLY CRITICAL!). So rare for a stones vinyl that is 45 years old!!!!! please note This audio is clear and vibrant all the way through!!! I would class myself as highly critical! Please look at my completed listing of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right!!!!! THOSE WHO KNOW ABOUT THE RECORDS THAT I LIST WOULD KNOW THAT MY PRIME INTEREST IS THE AUDIO QUALITY IT IS MY OPINION AFTER PLAYING THIS ALBUM A FEW TIMES THE AUDIO IS GRADED AT THE TOP!!! Please note these earliest pressings are cut at a louder volume than later pressings that i have heard, in my opinion a much more enjoyable experiance!!!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! I have given my honest opinion when describing the audio quality of this album and those who know the listings and vinyls that i sell my prime interest is the audio quality!!! Please allow for the odd static\crackle  not consistant  through out the audio! This is a genuine (not) reissue vinyl that is 43 years old and would have been played on a system that is 43 years old!

Please note, this album has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 25 years or more. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static\ crackle. A constant clean before each play is recomended. This will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality. Points to note, I notice debrit on the playing surface after play so this will need cleaning before each play which will further enhance this audio quality.

The labels

These feature the unboxed decca logo (only 1st press) Also these feature the familier decca  circular groove! the kt tax stamper is also featured on the labels and the run off grooves (only 1st press) There is spidering around the spindle hole but little if no spindle ware the hole is perfectly round! This record has obviously been played but in my opinion this has not been over played at all,  ''Made In England'' text is featured (UK pressing)!!!!!

The cover

This is the original laminated front only cover laminated by Clairifoil made by Celanese Limited and printed in England  by MacNeil Press! ) The rarest and hardest to find with flipbacks at the rear! Absolutely super super glossy appearance this has obviously been preserved in this stunning condition by being stored in a poly sleeve for all of its storage life and being seperated from the vinyl to prevent nasty ringware and rubbing!! There are (no) splits or tares around the edges. And again amaizingly bare minimal laminate creases to the laminate mainly at the spine end only  (see photo) Please note threse are only in the laminate, without any major ringware often seen on these 1st issues.   The writing can be clearly seen at the spine The rear is exceptionaly clean for its age. When scrutinised there is a slight scuff mark  any other rubbing ware you would have to really look for indeed This cover is superbe compared to others that i have seen  and  the original early press cover  rare! This cover must grade at least excellent in my opinion Unbeleivably rare to find with flipbacks and in this condition!

The  record sleeve.

This is also rare to find original Decca Mono Record sleeve with no splits or tares light general staining, creasing with age only!

I have had 100% positive feedback since I have been trading on ebay for the last five years so please bid with total confidance!!!!
