All of the records offered in my current auctions come from my personal stacks. I have been a vinyl enthusiast for over 40 years, and it's time to lighten up the load a little. The titles I am putting up for sale are all quality pieces. No garbage. Many are still factory sealed or have never been played; the rest have been played very little. All have been properly stored vertically in a very clean, climate controlled, smoke-free archive — with the vinyl kept in rice (or poly-lined) replacement inner sleeves outside of the jacket, and then everything housed in mylar outer sleeves. I use proper mailers and pack responsibly to counter inevitable postal abuse. And shipping is always free!

// GRADING
I take the business of grading vinyl very seriously. My FIVE STAR GRADING SCALE is simple, objective and very strict. It is designed to respect your intelligence as a fellow collector, and take all the mystery out of buying a record sight unseen. I visually grade each piece closely under harsh desktop light, and I am very unforgiving of flaws. When I play-grade, I use a Dual CS-5000 turntable with a new Ortofon 2M Black cartridge. The 2M Black is a highly critical transducer; surface noise has nowhere to hide.
Here is the FIVE STAR GRADING SCALE that I use for all open records:
M / ????? (MINT /5 stars): Perfect; an absolutely flawless gem.
NM / ???? (NEAR MINT /4 stars): Highly desirable, nearly perfect in every way.
EX / ??? (EXCELLENT /3 stars): A respectable piece, worthy of any collection, with very few superficial flaws.
VG / ?? (VERY GOOD /2 stars): An acceptable, presentable piece with notable (but not overwhelming) flaws.
G / ? (GOOD /1 star): Upgrade needed, but certainly not trash. While this would still be a playable copy, this is the bottom of the scale that I use for selling and, for clarification, I do not sell records in this condition.
