Description

Very rare test pressing of "Honky Tonk Women"/"You Can't Always Get What You Want", with picture sleeve included. Labels ar4e blank except for an "X" on one side. This record is in UNPLAYED MINT CONDITION!

How do I know that the record has these songs on it? The matrix numbers are XDR45283/XDR45284, which match correctly with the stock copy record numbers.

A test pressing is made after the band makes an acetate. If they like what they hear on the acetate and decide to go further with the project they make a test pressing to hear what the song will sound like on vinyl. These are made in very limited quantities. After the test pressing the promo copies are pressed to send out to radio stations etc., then the store, or stock copies are pressed that we purchase, or at least used to, at the record store.

I bought this record back in 1999 from the Good Rockin' Tonight auction house.
