SLEEVE CONDITION:..

The original issue Clout & Baker sleeve has no die cut hole, instead has the specific catalogue number at the top for the stereo pressing. Clearly stated under the catalogue number in brackets (POSTER INCLUDED). The front laminated sleeve is clean has no writing anywhere, very little wear from storage. The back is un-laminated it has few small spots which are age related, NO splits or creases and spine is clearly readable. I feel the sleeve grades EXCELLENT AND NEAR TO  EXCELLENT +    

INNER SLEEVE CONDITION:..

The correct as issued inner credit sleeve has five foxing marks to the back, it has a few creases as expected from this light weight paper, however no splits or tears and grades EXCELLENT-  

POSTER CONDITION:..

The poster is in great shape no splits, tears or creases and I feel grades at least EXCELLENT

VINYL CONDITION VISUAL :..

The vinyl is flat when checked on a rotating turntable. Viewing the surfaces under spot lamp the groove channels are clean free of trapped dust, few very light sleeve removal lines are noted, however under normal light conditions just one is visible. The labels are clean, free of writing, they have one fine spindle trace line on each side. I feel the vinyl grades easily EXCELLENT to EXCELLENT+ 

AUDIO QUALITY:..

Audio on both sides is strong clean sounding, and with brilliant sound separation on all tracks on both sides. Brief faint static is noted at intro as is expected and found on vinyl. Some light but very brief static tics are noted between some tracks, these are very brief. The audio has no background noise or distortion. There are NO skips, sticks or pops within the grooves. I feel the audio grades EXCELLENT+

AUDIO QUALITY

The Audio quality has been play graded using my Michell Engineering turntable with high quality MC cartridge.

RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD the record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing

I only use quality packing boxes with stiffeners, and all records are sent within new protective sleeves. Their cover and inner sleeve are packed separately, and stiffened as required to prevent crushing. Sealed within plastic sleeves to prevent moisture issues during shipping, every care is taken.
