Description
This is a great LP. It's a UK mono pressing entitled 'Let It Bleed' by The Rolling Stones. It was released in 1969. It is pressed on the original red Decca label with the unboxed Decca logo (catalogue no. LK 5025). This album is a must for all serious collectors of great rock music and especially for fans of the Rolling Stones. The most important point is that the LP includes the original poster and the stickered sleeve - extremely rare.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve which is laminated on the front is in fine condition with some minor wear and creasing on the front and back. The front of the sleeve features the very rare black and white 70mm x 20mm sticker on the left which states - 'FULL COLOR ROLLING STONES POSTER INCLUDED'. The top and bottom edges are in superb condition. The spine is in great condition and the wording along the spine is 100% readable. The rear of the sleeve is in fine condition except for a minor moisture stain in the bottom right hand corner. It states on the rear of the sleeve - 'Laminated with Clarifoil made by British Celanese Limited - Sleeve printed in England by Upton Printing Group'. I've graded the sleeve Ex--.
INNER SLEEVE - This is the original red and white comapny sleeve with track listings and band personnel for each of these listed on one side and instructions regarding playing the LP on the other. There is definite creaing on both sides and on the track/personnel listing side there are a couple of minor moisture stains. I've graded the inner sleeve VG+.
POSTER - This is printed in colour and is one-sided. It measures 530mm x 530mm. It folds so that it will fit into the outer sleeve. It is in fine condition with minimal damage except for one pinhole at each corner and minor 5mm tear on the centre right. It states in the bottom left hand corner - 'Poster designed by Victor Kahn'. I have graded this very rare item as Ex-.
RECORD - This mono record is in fine condition. There are some surface marks on both sides but these result in audible surface noise throughout both sides especially between tracks and during quiet passages. There are definitely no jumps or skips on either side. The labels are the original textured red Decca type with silver wording and the unboxed silver DECCA logo. These are in fine condition. There are some spindle marks on both labels. It states on both labels - 'MADE IN ENGLAND - THE DECCA RECORD CO. LTD. - LONG PLAYING - ffrr - full frequency range recording. The matrix numbers are printed upside down on each label above the catalogue number - side one - XARL 9363 - side two - XARL 9364. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - XARL-9363-1A (stampers - 1 UC) - side two - XARL-9364-2A (stampers - 1 UC). I have graded the record as VG+ and believe that this is very fair.
I try to grade all my items as accurately and conservatively as possible and I will provide a full refund to any winner of my auctions who is not 100% satisfied. Please see my feedback for any references required.
