ALBUM INFO:
The last great STONES album to feature the late BRIAN JONES, for me this is one of their finest, the band brought in an array of session musicians to give a total new direction in style and sound, more layered and complex. The addition of Nicky Hopkins and the now legendary Al Cooper for the piano and organ parts was a master stroke, with soon to be long term stalwarts Bobby Keys (SAX) and Mick Taylor (GUITAR) and future paid up band member. Even Legendary Guitarist Ryland Cooder makes his first appearance on a STONES album. From this he went on to co-write and play on Exile on Mainstreet. The cover displays a surreal sculpture designed by Robert Brownjohn, and consistss of the 'Let It Bleed' record being played by the tone-arm of an antique phonograph, and a record-changer spindle supporting several items stacked on a plate in place of a stack of records: a tape canister labelled Stones - Let It Bleed, a clock face, a pizza, a tyre and a cake with elaborate icing topped by figurines representing the band. The cake parts of the construction were prepared by then-unknown cookery writer Delia-Smith. The reverse of the sleeve shows the same "record-stack" melange in a state of disarray. The artwork was inspired by the working title of the album, which was 'Automatic Changer'.

SLEEVE:
(EX) For it's age, this sleeve is in excellent condition, with no tears, splits or writing. The front has some laminate creases which are located to the spine, bottom and opening edge; there is also a small patch of laminate on the spine. The back also has a few creases, which are located in the same areas as the front. The back also shows some minor signs of wear, mainly around the edges of the sleeve.
EDGES/SPINE:
There are a couple of crease marks on the spine, and some very minor wear to the corners; overall in excellent condition with no damage.
INNER SLEEVE:
Original MONO inner sleeve; there are a few small tears to the opening edges, creasing to the bottom corners and some minor wear due to age; there are however no splits to the edges or any writing.
LABELS:
Clean, no damage or writing- spindle marks are visible on both sides under normal house hold light.
AUDIO GRADING:
I play all LP's on my Pioneer PL 550-X. The album plays excellent with no jumps, clicks, distortion or crackle; a truly fantastic listen! - the only thing to note is that there is one pop during "Love In Vain".
PAYMENT:
Items must be payed for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an Ebay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or relist.
RETURNS POLICY:
I aim to provide an excellent service and hope that all buyers are satisfied with their purchase. However, if for any reason this should not be so, please contact me. I do accept returns, and on receipt of the item I will give a full refund - however - I will not refund what it costs the buyer to send it back, as otherwise I am just paying for the customer to look at it. I will not issue a refund if detail that is clearly stated on the advertisement has been missed by the buyer, so please read carefully.

I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.

VINYL
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, the odd scuff, but shinny and hardly played, the Audio playback amazing! this is from my own Stones Collection and the sound quality has no clicks or pops. A stunning example for it's age. I should think there's not many left in this condition. On 05-May-12 at 17:56:39 BST, seller added the following information: **** Just as an added note, the album is complete with it's original red Mono, Rolling Stones custom-ed inner sleeve ****
