Description
For sale is a great condition complete 1st UK. Mono press copy of The Rolling Stones’ classic album Let It Bleed from1969.
This copy has ‘the full works’. The sleeve has the original poster sticker on the front. There is the peep hole for stereo or mono on the rear. The original lyric innersleeve and poster are also present. To cap all this the record has the ‘unboxed’ Decca labels.
The original first issue sleeve is in superb condition with hardly a blemish. No tears, writing or fading. Fully intact spine. Has the original poster sticker on the front.
Original Red Mono unredacted lyric inner sleeve is in VG+ condition- just a couple of creases.
Original poster in excellent condition.
Record has 2A/2A matrices.
Record visually is a VG+ with some scuffs and hairlines on both sides but no deep feelable marks. It should be noted that these 1960’s records were built to last and usually sound better than they look.
That is the case here- both sides lay closer to Excellent with occasional crackles and a handful of quiet clicks being only issue. No sticks skips or jumps . Sound is clear and vibrant.
Labels are clean with no writing and minimal spindle marks.
It is difficult to find fully complete ‘unboxed’ original copies in a decent condition. This copy should complement any collection.
