ROLLING STONES Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Record Box Set - UNPLAYED - 11 MFSL Vinyl LPs  - Limited Edition #4820 - (Plus STICKY FINGERS Spain!)

Audiophile release from 1984. Pressed in Japan (I believe) from the original half-speed masters.

This set was gifted to me over 10 years ago by my former business partner. (We're sound engineers and owned a recording studio in Hollywood.) He got it while working at the WEA warehouse in Chatsworth in the '80s, back in the heyday when WBR execs got loads of this kind of stuff as swag and periodically shoveled it out of their offices (to make room for more blow and hookers) to be distributed among the minions. It had already been cannibalized of it's GEO-Disc cartridge alignment tool when he got it (easily replaced if you're so-inclined); the registration certificate envelope is also missing. He never played them (not a big Stones fan), neither have I (no longer own a turntable), so I'm about 100% certain no one has. The few I partially removed from their sleeves had that "static cling" feel of a never-opened record and no sign of play or handling at all.

I rate the vinyl condition as near mint (NM or M-), my highest rating for anything no longer factory-sealed. The box shows minor signs of wear, but the latch is undamaged and it all looks pretty nice after I wiped the dust off with a damp cloth. Always stored in a climate controlled non-smoking studio or home environment. Please examine the listing photos carefully; they're an important part of my item description.
