ROLLING STONES - NO. 2 MONO

A UK MONO BOXED DECCA PRESSING in MINT CONDITION. Only played once when I taped it to a cassette. There are very few vintage pressings in this condition.

In the liner notes it has the section:
If you don’t have the bread, see that blind man
knock him on the head...
The Association of Blind People in Britain objected and later versions had it removed. Some eBay sellers will tell you this makes it very rare - not so. Decca put out both covers until they ran out of printed copies. But it IS the original Andrew Loog Oldham liner notes! Which makes it very nice to have.

In a period inner sleeve with plastic on the inside. The laminated cover is in perfect condition. 'Clairifoil' credit on the back, which was dropped in 1972. The heavy vinyl disc looks like it was pressed yesterday. Label has MONO in the centre and the playing speed printed. Combined with the low matrix number I will guess this is a 1970 pressing.

Matrix numbers: XZAL 6679 - 2A / 2A.

CONDITION:
Record is 100%. Perfect - No marks or scratches. Perfect labels with no spindle wear. Lovely looking heavy disc.
Cover is 100%. No marks. No wear on corners. Lamination is perfect - no yellowing or cracking. Check the photo under the Zoom feature.
Inner sleeve is 100%. Perfect in every way.
