On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called 'Rolling Stones No 2' and is a MONO UK pressing on the UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca label!!!!  THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS AMAZING CONDITION!!!!  BUT THIS LP IS VERY VERY SPECIAL INDEED!!!!  THIS IS THE RAREST AND MOST SOUGHT AFTER PRESSING OF THIS LP AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!   THIS PRESSING IS KNOWN AS THE 'TRANSITIONAL' PRESSING (WITH A DIFFERENT 'PASTE ON' BACK COVER) AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN.

THIS LP WAS RELEASED IN 1965 AND A FEW MONTHS AFTER RELEASE COMPLAINTS STARTED TO FLOOD IN TO DECCA ABOUT SOME OFFENDING TEXT ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER.  THIS OFFENDING TEXT IS KNOWN AS THE 'BLIND MAN' TEXT AND BASICALLY THE TEXT SAID 'IF YOU DONT HAVE THE BREAD, SEE THAT BLIND MAN KNOCK HIM ON THE HEAD, STEAL HIS WALLET....' ETC.  THIS CAUSED SOME OFFENSE AND DECCA WAS FORCED TO CHANGE THE BACK OF THE COVER.  HOWEVER DECCA HAD A STOCKPILE OF COVERS WITH THE OFFENDING TEXT - AND RATHER THAN DESTROY THEM THEY DECIDED TO 'COVER' THEM (MUCH IN THE STYLE OF A BEATLES 'BUTCHER COVER') WITH A 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK TO 'COVER' THE OFFENDING TEXT.  ONLY A VERY FEW COVERS WERE PRESSED LIKE THIS - BEFORE STANDARD LATER PRESSED COVERS (WITHOUT THE TEXT) WERE INTRODUCED.  IF YOU LOOK AT MY PICTURES BELOW YOU CAN FAINTLY SEE THE ORIGINAL TEXT SHOWING FAINTLY THROUGH THE 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK, AND ALSO YOU CAN SEE THE EDGE OF THE PAPER OF THE 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK!!!!   THESE 'TRANSITIONAL' COVERS WITH 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK ARE INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AND ARE SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN AWESOME CONDITION - WITH AN AMAZING CONDITIONED COVER, STUNNING INNER SLEEVE AND AWESOME BARELY PLAYED RECORD!!!!  THIS IS THE MEGA RARE 1965 UK 'TRANSITIONAL' MONO PRESSING ON THE UNBOXED 'GROOVED' DECCA LABEL, ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE, AND MEGA RARE LAMINATED 'TRANSITIONAL' COVER WITH 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK!!!!  THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A MEGA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' PRESSING, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK 'Transitional' MONO pressing and is in AWESOME condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LK 4661 on the ORIGINAL UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Rolling Stones at their best!!!! Any fan of The Rolling Stones, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  THIS RECORD HAS AMAZINGLY ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! AMAZING RECORD!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade MINT(Minus)!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also has its ORIGINAL inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! The MEGA RARE 'Transitional' Laminated Cover (with 'Paste On Cover Back') is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear, AWESOME shiny UNGLAZED laminate, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is EXTREMELY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated cover back (with paste on 'slick') is in AWESOME condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The only EXTREMELY minor thing to mention on this cover is some laminate lifting along the front spinal edge.  The cover must grade Excellent++ if not better!!!! AWESOME COVER!!!!  THIS ULTRA RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' PRESSING IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS AMAZING CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
