On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called 'Rolling Stones No 2' and is an ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st Pressing on the UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  BUT THERE IS ONE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT DETAIL THAT MAKES THIS LP IS VERY VERY SPECIAL INDEED!!!!  THIS IS THE RAREST AND MOST SOUGHT AFTER PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS PRESSING IS KNOWN AS THE IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' PRESSING (WITH A DIFFERENT 'PASTE ON' BACK COVER) AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE:-

THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN 1965, AND ONLY WEEKS AFTER RELEASE COMPLAINTS STARTED TO FLOOD IN TO DECCA ABOUT SOME OFFENDING TEXT ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER.  THIS OFFENDING TEXT IS KNOWN AS THE 'BLIND MAN' TEXT AND BASICALLY THE TEXT SAID 'IF YOU DONT HAVE THE BREAD, SEE THAT BLIND MAN KNOCK HIM ON THE HEAD, STEAL HIS WALLET....' ETC.  THIS CAUSED GREAT OFFENSE TO MANY PEOPLE, AND WHILST THEY RESISTED IT FOR A TIME - DECCA WAS EVENTUALLY FORCED TO CHANGE THE BACK OF THE COVER & REMOVE THE OFFENDING 'BLIND MAN' TEXT.  HOWEVER, DECCA STILL HAD A SMALL STOCKPILE OF 1ST PRESS COVERS WITH THE OFFENDING 'BLIND MAN' TEXT ON THE REVERSE - AND RATHER THAN DESTROY THEM THEY DECIDED TO 'COVER' THEM (MUCH IN THE STYLE OF A BEATLES 'BUTCHER COVER') WITH A 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK TO 'COVER' THE OFFENDING TEXT!!!!  ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF 'TRANSITIONAL' COVERS WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS (WITH THE 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK!) - BEFORE STANDARD LATER PRESSED COVERS (WITHOUT THE TEXT) WERE INTRODUCED!!!!  IF YOU LOOK HARD AT MY PICTURES BELOW YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE ORIGINAL TEXT SHOWING FAINTLY THROUGH THE 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK!!!!  AND ALSO ON SOME OF MY OTHER CLOSE UP PICTURES (SEE BELOW) YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE EDGE OF THE PAPER OF THE 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK!!!!  THESE IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'TRANSITIONAL' COVERS WITH ULTRA RARE 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK ARE SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE AND MAKE THIS LP ONE OF THE RAREST ROLLING STONES LPS EVER MADE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK 'TRANSITIONAL' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE ORIGINAL UNBOXED DECCA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND IMPOSSIBLY RARE LAMINATED 'TRANSITIONAL' COVER (WITH ULTRA RARE 'PASTE ON' COVER BACK)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK 'Transitional' MONO 1st Pressing and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LK 4661 on the ORIGINAL UNBOXED Decca Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Rolling Stones at their best!!!! Any fan of The Rolling Stones, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  THIS RECORD HAS CLEARLY BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 absolutely ULTRA light hairline trace (only visible under the most EXTREME light possible!), NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!!  The IMPOSSIBLY RARE 'Transitional' Laminated Cover (with ULTRA RARE 'Paste On' Cover back!) is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, VERY shiny laminate, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), only a thin line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated cover back (with 'Paste on' cover back 'slick') is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  AMAZINGLY THE COVER BACK IS 100% PERFECTLY WHITE!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent(Minus)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND TO LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
