On offer here is a VERY rare single indeed (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Not Fade Away" by The Rolling Stones and is an ORIGINAL UK 1964 'Advance Test Recording' 1st pressing on the ULTRA RARE Decca 'Test Press' label!!!! The B side is called 'Little By Little'. THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IN FACT, THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST ROLLING STONES RECORDS YOU WILL EVER SEE!!!!  THIS IS AN ULTRA RARE 'ADVANCE TEST RECORDING' 1ST PRESSING AND IS EVEN RARER THAN A DEMO!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS SINGLE SO AMAZINGLY RARE!!!!  

THE SINGLE IS BASICALLY RIGHT AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE PRESSING PROCESS AND IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING YOU CAN POSSIBLY FIND!!!!  IT IS EVEN RARER THAN A DEMO!!!!  WHEREAS DEMOS WERE PRESSED IN THEIR 100s (AROUND 200-300) FOR RADIO STATION & REVIEWERS USAGE - ONLY 1 OR 2 'ADVANCE TEST PRESSINGS' WOULD HAVE EVER BEEN MADE!!!!  BASICALLY WHEN THE MACHINES WERE SET TO RUN WITH THE FIRST BATCH OF DEMOS - 1 OR 2 DISCS WERE PRESSED OFF BEFORE THIS HAPPENED, AND WOULD HAVE TAKEN AWAY TO BE AUDIO CHECKED, BEFORE THE ALL CLEAR WAS GIVEN TO BEGIN THE PRESSING PROCESS!!!!   THESE 1 OR 2 DISCS WOULD HAVE EITHER HAD BLANK LABELS, OR DEMO LABELS, AND THE 'ADVANCE TEST RECORDING' LABELS WOULD HAVE BEEN 'HAND STUCK' OVER THESE ONTO THE DISC!!!!  ONLY 1 OR 2 DISCS LIKE THIS WOULD HAVE EVER BEEN TAKEN FOR AUDIO CHECKING PURPOSES AND ARE QUITE SIMPLY THE RAREST POSSIBLE PRESSING OF ANY ROLLING SINGLE IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET!!!!

The ULTRA RARE 'Advance Test Recording' record labels are in GREAT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, only VERY minor wear, and only a VERYfew light spindle marks!!!!  The labels are also slightly 'yellowed' in places (probably from the original glue residue) and they show signs of natural ageing (only to be expected). HOWEVER THEY STILL LOOK BRILLIANT AND ALL THE TEXT IS CLEARLY READABLE!!!! The record is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, only 2 or 3 light scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  The record also has a VERY slight 'shine' to it - though this is ONLY visible under light and DOES NOT affect play in the slightest!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING (if not better) as the visual!!!!  It plays NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only the VERY slightest amount of background sound on the run on grooves - NOT in the music AT ALL (which plays SUPERBLY)!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The single must grade Very Good+ if not better and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Decca Company sleeve!!!!  THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
