Description

I have owned this LP since it came out in 1971. The cover and the sleeve show their age, with discolouration at the edges. The zip works fine, but there is a small, barely noticeable, tear in the top right-hand corner of the front cover, 6cms long. Also I wrote my name 'Bob' on the back cover, top left-hand corner (see photo) to stop flatmates at the time nicking it. The insert sheet with the large photo and track listing is in good condition.

As for the appearance of the vinyl, side one looks very good apart from a light scratch about 2 cms long that doesn't affect the sound. Side two in appearance is almost pristine.

As regards playability, there are no jumps on the record. Scratchy sounds, typical of a well-loved LP can be heard, but only between tracks and occasionally during quieter passages of play. Most of the time you can't tell that you're listening to a much-loved LP, so according to the grading system, see link below, I would say that the sound is very good.
