Description
Offered: The Rolling Stones "Out Of Our Heads" vinyl LP. This is on the London ffrr label, Stereo PS-429. This is the very rare first U.S. pressing released in July, 1965.
This rare issue of "Out Of Our Heads" is judged by Rolling Stones collectors to be the rarest commercially sold U.S. LP. This is a Stereo issue, PS-429 London (Navy) blue labels.
In addition, the record is housed in the "Stereo" cover as opposed to the much more common 'Stereo (Electronically Rechanneled) cover.
Below is a detailed description of the cover and labels.
The cover has "Stereo" printed in the upper left corner: (NO Electronically Re-Channeled) and London boxed in the upper right corner. The label is dark (Navy) blue with silver print. "Made In England By The Decca Record Co. Ltd." is printed at the top of the label. "London ffrr" is boxed and printed below that. Printed above the box is "Trademark Reg. U. S. Pat. Off." Printed below the box is "Full Frequency Range Recording". "Stereophonic" is printed in blue lettering inside a silver band that runs the width of the label. The matrix #'s ZAL 6791 and ZAL 6792 are printed upside down above PS 429 on the corresponding sides of the record. ZAL 6791-1L and 6792-1L are stamped in the dead wax. The record is housed in the original London ffrr "ear logo" inner sleeve.
Phil Spector played Zoom bass on this record.
