ROLLING STONES STICKY FINGERS ORIG UK EX VINYL A/4 B/3 FIRST PRESS COMPLETE
This is an amazing hardly ever played copy of the Rolling Stones classic Sticky Fingers album, UK copy, 1971, with essentially close to new near-mint condition vinyl, with only the slightest signs of age. The record is virtually perfect, and was only played carefully a few times, and has A/4 and B/3 matrix numbers. It is very early.
The vinyl shows now marks or scuffs under strong light, it looks brand new, apart from some “static” type dust marks from being stored for a long time. That’s all I can say. It may well need a clean, but I will leave that to the buyer. The labels are fine, and have the early style credits, as you would expect.
The un-lined original inner sleeve is flat and excellent, with some discolouration from age.
The original zipper sleeve is also nice and complete, with some creasing near the zip (which works fine). The corners show some wear, and there are the usual impressions from the next record in the shipping box, and light creases. Overall, it is very presentable, complete and quite nice. Overall this cover is better than VG.
The card inner is excellent with no defects, early press quality, near mint.
Overall, a really nice copy of this great album, with excellent vinyl.
It is virtually impossible to find old classic rock albums in this condition, but I have just picked up such a collection from a friend. Some are played carefully and some not played at all, according to him. The most that has happened is they all moved house a couple of times.
This MUST be worth the opening bid of £40.00! It’s a classic. Why pay £200?
Overall this is better than EX vinyl, with an EX inner, and the sleeve is better than VG, but you will not be disappointed with the freshness and quality.
