Description
This is an Auction for the Lp by The Rolling Stones released in the Uk in 1971 on Rolling Stones Records Catalogue number COC 59100. This is an early press with A3 and B4 matrix numbers and with "TML Rolling Stones Records" written in both runout grooves. It has a full working Zip Cover, Superb vinyl and audio and equally superb elusive Inner
The Vinyl is visually in Excellent++ condition with a lovely sheen and looks absolutely BRILLIANT. It looks barely played and this is reflected in the audio which is also superb. The record sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays through without any skips or jumps and no audible clicks or ticks on my system. There is some very very light background noise but overall i would grade the Audio as Excellent++ if not better for a 40 year old Lp.
The labels are in Excellent++ condition with a couple of very light barely visible spindle marks.
The Original Andy Warhol inspired cover with the Andy warhol hidden picture of underpants inside is in Excellent condition. The Zip is still in full working order and looks great. There is some light storage wear along the bottom of the sleeve and some creasing on the top flap above the crease but overall this is a really great example.
The LP comes with its original Gothic printers inner which is also in Excellent+ condition.
OVERALL A SUPERB COPY OF THIS RARE LP.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
