As many people may already know, I usually end all my items on Sunday nights (and these will still continue!)!!!! However as I had quite a few extra items of UTMOST RARITY come in to me this week (they really are TOP QUALITY, and NOT cheap overstock!) and completely ran out of time to list them last Sunday - I decided to do a 'one off' set of listings of Wednesday auctions ending on Wednesday 25th June!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST ROLLING STONES LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! THIS LP IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE DECCA LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE WITH ULTRA RARE 1P1/P1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!! AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! WHEN THIS LP WAS 1ST PRESSED (WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE!) THERE WAS NO 'GAP' IN THE GROOVES AT THE BEGINNING OF 'SHES A RAINBOW'!!!! ONLY THE VERY 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - CAME LIKE THIS WITH NO 'GAP' IN THE GROOVES ON 'SHES A RAINBOW' - AND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE AN EXTRA 'GAP' WAS ADDED AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS TRACK!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP - THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND STILL A VERY VERY PRESENTABLE EXAMPLE INDEED!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS UNBOXED 'GROOVED' DECCA LABELS, 1ST PRESS 1P1/P1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS NO 'GAP' IN THE GROOVES ON 'SHES A RAINBOW', 1ST PRESS RED 'SMOKE' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'ROBERT STACE' LAMINATED GATEFOLD '3D' MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is TXL 103 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca Label (see picture) and is a UK 1967 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Rolling Stones at their best!!!! Any fan of The Rolling Stones, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are still in fairly decent order (see pictures) with NO writing, some wear around the centre holes, NO sticker marks, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall - and still VERY bright & shiny indeed!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has only 3 or 4 TINY surface marks, only a few light hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The record is also very VERY slightly uneven - though this does not affect play in the slightest!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY presentable record ineed!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Red 'Smoke' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition (apart from an almost INVISIBLE repair to a small part of a couple of the edges)!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Robert Stace' Gatefold Laminated '3D' MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO splits, only some VERY minor 'touching in' traces to the back holding edges, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corner tips, a VERY nice looking '3D' front panel, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! It is also worth mentioning that the maze on the inside of the cover has NOT been filled in - and is completely UNTOUCHED!!!! This cover must grade Very Good++ if not better - and is a very VERY nice cover indeed!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
