THE ROLLING STONES Some Girls
Not a Reissue! Original 1978 FIRST COVER!
Green-Yellow-Blue-Pink Version. B/W (Liza Minnelli) Also, Farah Fawcett Lucille Ball, Raquel Welch, Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland among other stars and starlets including Elizabeth Taylor and others. First Cover from Plant "PR" with celebrity faces including Farah Fawcett, Lucille Ball on cover and Liza Minnelli on inner sleeve. All threatened lawsuits, along with the estates of Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland so this cover was quickly withdrawn and all copies that had not yet made it to the record stores were destroyed. The celebrity faces included on the inner sleeve were removed and replaced with "blank" cutouts on album cover and eventually blanked out with no cutouts at all. While many of these original die-cut albums did make it to the market before being withdrawn it is getting harder and harder to find one in perfect condition-still sealed. Here is a perfect example!
This first cover was issued in four or five different variations with different order of colors and also a "pale" cover. This is the 1st Cover with DEEP BOLD COLORS.

IMPORTANT: Although this record has been stored in a climate controlled environment I cannot guarantee integrity of the vinyl inside-although I can say the cover is straight and has always been stored vertically in a record cabinet (even shrink-wrap is clean and free of blemishes) so I think its safe to assume the vinyl is "Mint" (as is the album cover) however, obviously I cannot guarantee there are no scratches, pops, etc. on vinyl because it is, after all, factory sealed. I'm confident the vinyl, labels and dust jacket should be pristine-certainly-it is new!
