Description
Offered for sale here is the 2011 remastered re-release of the classic 1978 Rolling Stones LP "Some Girls".
Intended as the pink vinyl version, this LP was initially mis-pressed by Universal on purple vinyl. Only a small number of these got out, and is already a rare and collectable item. The LP was re-issued on the correct colour very shortly after release.
This copy is brand new, has never been played, and the vinyl has only been complete removed from the inner sleeve once - in order to photograph.
The vinyl itself has some small blue-ish coloured blotches on both sides, these are similar to the red-ish ones on my pink vinyl copy.
This is how the LPs arrived from Universal and is obviously some kind of blemish on the dye caused during manufacture. I should stress that these are NOT scratches. My pink copy plays perfectly, so this one would too.
The LP will be extremely well-packed for shipping, in proper re-enforced cardboard packaging - I do NOT send out vinyl records in jiffy bags or envelopes as some eBayers do!
Sensible offers only please - one of these recently sold for £100 on eBay so don't make an offer that is not realistic as it will be declined.
Any questions, please just ask and thanks for looking.
