Description

ROLLING STONES: "Sticky Fingers" LP 1971.

ROLLING STONES RECORDS LABEL: COC 59100. MAITRIX: COC 59100 A3 / COC 59100 - B4

Cover is in a good condition with the Zip in working order although due to age I would be very careful opening/closing it. Has a bit of creasing on the cardboard belt buckle. Apart from that it has some standard wear and tear marks around the edges and slight wear to the spine.

I have done a little research into this album and I think it's an early edition because the matrix numbers stamped on the record and the sleeve has angled corners and this only appeared on the early ones. The Vinyl is in Excellent Condition and i can only see 2 very light scratches which don't effect the playing/sound.

Also includes the original insert which is in immaculate condition.

This album cover is designed by Andy Warhol, Sticky Fingers was the Rolling Stones' first album for Atlantic Records – which gave them the freedom and budget to mass-produce this cover with an actual zipper. When unzipped, it revealed white underwear with the Rolling Stones' tongue logo on it. Contrary to legend, the man in the underwear is not Mick Jagger. It's one of Warhol's associates, though nobody seems to be able to agree on exactly who it is.
