Description
The Rolling Stones 1st UK stereo pressing of “Their Satanic Majesties Request”
Green unboxed Decca labels, Lenticular sleeve and original psychedelic inner sleeve.
Side A : ZAL-8126-T2-4K
Side B: ZAL-8127-T2-5K
Vinyl visually grades around G+ with lots of fine paper scuffs and quite a few light scratches. Side 1 mostly plays between VG and VG+ with a little light crackle in spaces between tracks and a few of the quieter sections. Noting major and still an enjoyable listen. Side 2 is similar but has some soft clicks through “The Lantern” into “The Gomper”. VG- to VG overall play grade. The record doesn’t look great but actually plays okay with some background noise. No sticks, jumps or really troubling background noise.
The sleeve is VG to VG+. It has a scratch over Brian Jones face on the lenticular part. Someone has followed the maze in biro on the inside cover. No other writing, no splits or tears and overall looks okay really.
The inner is VG. Seam split on one edge and very small hard to read name in biro.
Not perfect but still playable and fairly presentable first pressing.
