Description
For sale is a 1st edition vinyl release of Their Satanic Majesties Request by The Rolling Stone (London Records, NPS-2).
This 1st edition, 1967 pressing includes the original 3-D lenticular gatefold cover!
This release is a rare label variant which includes:
1. Front side & back side, as on sleeve
2. No parenthesis on matrix at bottom
3. No "Made in U.S.A"
4. No copyright warning on bottom rim
This is the release with the matrix runout lines, "ZAL-8126-1G Bell Sound/ZAL 8127-1H Bell Sound"
Disc is EX with light inner sleeve marks but hardly any play wear, amazing condition with very light surface noise during quiet parts, has a slight concave storage bow which in no way affects the sound.
Jacket is EX aside from light edge wear, previous owner's name written in red pen on front and back top corners, and while it's in fantastic condition for being nearly 50 years old it does have a slight bow which affects the way the gatefold rests. Original inner sleeve in EX condition included!
