Description
MONO copy of the Rolling Stones album Beggars Banquet as originally issued on Decca LK4955 in 1968.
Excellent off white gold edged gatefold cover. Minor rubbing to edge. Clean, No pen marks etc. Spine not crushed. Please note this is not the 'patent pending' copy.
The inner sleeve is, slight foxing to top edge, and very minor creasing.
The vinyl is very good condition, as described above in the used section. Minor surface marks to both sides. Side 2 has a palpable mark and viewable mark (see photos) right on the end of the last track and onto the run off area. I have not played but I assume it may click twice before running off to finish. The pressings are XARL-8476-4A and XARL-8477-3A which, I believe, makes it a first pressing.
The labels are excellent with no writing and no stickers. I can see some spindle marks on either side but the actual spindle hole looks excellent. As can be seen the label is the non-tax-code variant. Stonesondecca.com has described this variant as 'Design No 5 version 3'.
