RARE original UK pressings of "Electrosound Volume 2" (1975) and "Atmospheres" (1977) by Ron Geesin, released on KPM Records.

Avantgarde artist, electronic composer and general audio prankster extraordinaire Ron Geesin was of course the arranger and co-composer of the eponymously-titled suite on Pink Floyd`s "Atom Heart Mother" (1970). Geesin also collaborated with Roger Waters on "Music From The Body" (1970) in the same time period. He remains a life-long close associate of the band members.

"Electrosound (Volume 2)" and "Atmospheres" were released in the mid-70s on the small KPM label and are highly collectable. The albums are on sale as a two-record set only.

Please note also that these specific copies both feature small stickers that read "Ron Geesin/composed/played/recorded". These custom-designed stickers are reputed to have been added to early issues of the albums by Ron Geesin himself! Both "Electrosound (Volume 2)" and "Atmospheres" rarely if ever show up with these stickers on the sleeves.

Miss out on these RARE avantgarde items at your own peril, therefore!

GRADING:

MINT(-) COVERS. Both pretty much in perfect condition. Very light ring imprint on rear cover of "Atmospheres" is storage wear only.

Both rear sleeves have a small, removable store sticker ("Recommended Records") in one corner (at bottom right). Please see photos for details.

Absolutely MINT RECORDS. Obviously, both records have never been played before!

PLEASE NOTE: Over the next few months, we will regularly be offering a number of rarities, mainly progressive and avantgarde records: A very discerning, long-time collector friend left us his treasure chest! Not only are many of these lps extremely rare, they are almost all in MINT(-) condition - both inside and out.

As we slowly inch closer to springtime, we will be spreading the goodies out, in no special order. Suffice to say that the best is still to come!
