Ronnie Boykins s/t ESP-Disk Records LP 3026, 1975


OK. Beginning today and with this auction we will be listing a huge batch of great Jazz LPs (featuring many obscure labels as well as Blue Note, Impulse, Starta-East, etc.) We acquired the collection from a musical collegue and friend of Daoud Haroom (the trombonist on this Boykins recording) who has been a good friend to us here at Nice Price Books Durham for several years now. I'll be offering more general remarks about this collection in the following auctions.

This LP was factory sealed until this morning. I opened it because some of the records in this collection (a very small number) have had minor rim warping from exposure to a heat source. Sadly, those LPs with warps that made them unplayable have been euthanized. I didn't want to list a sealed LP that was potentially warped. Good news! The vinyl is fine and in unplayed condition. The sleeve is still in the opened shrink wrap. The corners have some bumps and/or wear/rubbing and the shrink wrap has some aging and storage wear. There are a couple of light bumps near the center of the top edge. No splits in the sleeve.
