one of the rarest UK jazz lps ever and in absolutely IMMACULATE condition. ronnie ross lp "cleopatra's needle", original UK issue (NOT the limited japanese repress), fontana 1968, stereo SFJL 915. matrix stamps are 886 507 1Y1 / 2Y1. flipback laminated sleeve ex+ condition: one tiny crease in laminate bottom right of front is about the ONLY damage: even the back has barely greyed at all and looks pristine. the vinyl itself is even better: not a single mark AT ALL; looks as if it has been played 3 or 4 times if that? perfect gloss, even under close inspection under a naked light bulb. i have played this lp once throughout (very carefully, on a quality turntable with a brand new stylus!) and the playback is flawless. guaranteed satisfaction. this lp is a favourite with both the UK jazz collectors (Ronnie Ross ranking alongside Tubby Hayes, Ian Carr and Don Rendell, with whom he worked) and also a new generation of beat fans - the title track was included on the Gilles Peterson compilation "impressed". postage costs for this lp slightly higher than usual i'm afraid as i'm going to have to insist on registered (signed-for) post for this.. if you're looking at this you probably know what it's worth..
