RONNIE SCOTT, TONY CROMBIE, Stan Tracey, UK DECCA 10"
At The Royal Festival Hall with The Ronnie Scott Orchestra and Tony Crombie.
Original 1956 UK pressed Decca Records mono 10" LP, LF 1261.
Vinyl in excellent condition. Very few spider trail marks are visible at centre spindle areas. Surfaces have a high gloss still and display just a very few superfcial paper scuffs. No deep marks or scratches. Generally appears a little and carefully played LP.
Playback is very clean with an absolute minimum of the softest of static crackle at run ins. No ticks, clicks or skips.
Note that any visible marks to the vinyl surface in the photo are merely reflections.
Labels also have a high and undulled lustre still.
Inner sleeve appears original and is in excellent condition and free of heavy creasing or seam splits.
Outer sleeve in generally excellent condition, still very clean, bright and fresh looking. A ringwear impression mark is starting to show, and thee is just the lightest hint of a diagonal corner crease to top right, but without wear or scuffing, and the front panel still looks really good. No splits, tears, or laminate peeling. Just a touch of outward bowing at the entry side. No sticker, pen or other marks. Predominantly white rear still very clean with just the most marginal of age toning and one or two dots of marks. Backflaps clean and intact. Rear laminate also intact with just a miniscule amount of peeling to bottom left corner, very minor. Edges are also well preserved and wihout fraying or seam splits. Just some light wear and rubbing to tips.
All in all, a very well preserved example of this scarce early Jazz 10".

A Note On Grading:Note that audio grading is subjective and based on sensitivity of equipment used for playback. In this instance playback has been tested on a vintage Technics Quartz Direct Drive SL1700 MKII turntable with Shure cartridge, Technics SU-C 03 amp and Technics SB-F2 Linear Phase speakers.
Also note that I generally do not clean vinyl unless so noted. Most vinyl will show improved playback quality with your preferred cleaning method, but I leave this to the prospective buyer, as controversy still surrounds the ideal method of cleaning vinyl.
