Description
A beautiful Rory live album and blues rock vinyl gem – this is an original OZ 1972 press on the red Polydor label (later 1979 reissues are on a blue Chrysalis label).
A highly recommended album together with the Irish Tour live album and both are essential Rory Gallagher albums. Live In Europe has six songs that are not on Irish Tour and this makes Live In Europe essential for the best live Rory Gallagher music.
Vinyl Grade: +VG, lovely gloss, some trace/hairlines on each side only, nothing that stands out that you would expect to hear.
Note – has a small rise/fall edge wobble that does not affect playing, stops by the end of track 1 on each side. To view - see a video on YouTube by doing the YouTube search gazzaml and then click on Search instead for gazzaml
Sound Quality: EX, the sound quality is excellent with no background surface noise, well just a little on track 3 side 1 in the intro section, fully play tested to check.
Cover: +VG, flat, no damage, no edge wear, just a little creased on front.
Labels: clear, no spindle wear, see photos.
Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.
Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.
Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)
Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.
Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.
Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.
Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.
Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.
Postage: I package very very well and only charge the actual Aust Post cost.
Pleased to combine posting: 1 record is $8.95, 2 or 3 records is $12.20, 4 records to about 9 records is $15.35.
