Up for sale in this auction is a rare still sealed jazz LP by Roscoe Mitchell for his release, "Old / Quartet". This has never been opened so the vinyl is assumed to be mint. The jacket has some corner wear, most notably on the bottom two corners where the shrink has broken during storage. I have photographed the corners that have some wear to show the amount of wear. I would rate the jacket at VG to VG+ condition because of this. Vinyl is assumed to be Mint. We are unsure which color the center labels are as this record has never been opened. But this is a 1975 pressing from Nessa records. It should sound fantastic and is a great piece of music from Roscoe Mitchell. There is some price tag residue and part of a price tag affixed to the top left of the front of the shrink wrap.

- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
