Description

A near mint copy of Rose Tattoo - 'Southern Stars'. This is the nuts: in 1990 Streetlink released the first four Rose Tattoo albums as numbered limited editions on coloured vinyl - and I have them all 4 up for auction! This is on Streetlink Records STR LP 005. RED vinyl is mint/unplayed. Sleeve is perfect. The edition was limited to 1000 each (only available through mail order). This is No.409. [See photos]
‘Rose Tattoo are an Australian rock and roll band, now led by Angry Anderson, which formed in Sydney in 1976. Their sound is hard rock mixed with blues rock influences, with songs including "Bad Boy for Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw", "Nice Boys", "We Can't Be Beaten" and "Scarred for Life". Their first four albums were produced by Harry Vanda and George Young who also worked with AC/DC. They disbanded in 1987, subsequently reforming briefly in 1993 to support Guns N' Roses on an Australian tour. They reassembled again from 1998 and have since released two more studio albums.
Southern Stars is the fourth album by Australian hard rock band Rose Tattoo. Southern Stars, with a slick production by Vanda & Young, had the band moving in a more AOR style, but retaining their famous Rock/boogie style. The album was essentially made with Angry Anderson and Geordie Leach on bass guitar, and new members Greg Jordon (slide/lead guitar), John Meyer (guitar) and Scott Johnston (drums). The album includes their Australian hit single I Wish.'

I’m sorry but I cannot combine postage for overseas sales, ebay’s GSP simply won’t let me discount. If you are having the item sent to a UK address to then be forwarded overseas – please be aware I will need it opened, checked and feedback left at the UK ADDRESS as soon as it arrives as I am not accountable for issues with condition/shipping, nor can I accept returns IF sent overseas by a 3rd party.
