STILL SEALED EP
If you had more than the 98¢ for a single, but couldn't afford the $3.98 that an album required, you could always go to that step in-between, the extended play single. Housed in a little jacket like a miniature album, the single had four tracks from the album and usually sold for around $1.40. They were introduced back in 1950, and continued to be pressed up through the mid 1960s. They usually sold poorly and are now a bit tough to find. Some early albums were issued as a set of three Eps, contain all 12 tracks on the Lp. It was a way to get the album, even if you had a changer that only played 7-inch records!
This is a STILL SEALED Ep that’s the best of Rosemary Clooney. It’s part of the Columbia Hall Of Fame series and sold for the bargain price of $1.29.
