It´s 1993, the first bigger Black Metal Tour with IMMORTAL, BLASPHEMY & ROTTING CHRIST already cast its shadow & 4 young greeks maniacs release their 8 song debut album. With ''Thy Mighty Contract'' ROTTING CHRIST have already created their first masterpiece & simultaneously defines the greek Black Metal of the 90s. While being one of the first black metal bands to emerge from the so called second wave of black metal, these notoriously named Greek pioneers developed their own style and created a sound that quickly became trademark for most Greek black metal bands. ''Thy Mighty Contract'' is a black metal classic exactly because it displayed ROTTING CHRIST’s uniqueness. A timeless classic, here as 180g black vinyledition, including an 8-page LP booklet with historical band information, texts, photographs and interview.
