ROXY MUSIC - SELF TITLED 1972 DEBUT VINYL ALBUM IN VG+ CONDITION
ISLAND RECORDS, CAT NO: ILPS 9200
MATRIX NUMBERS A2/B2
THIS IS AN EARLY COPY OF THE 1972 DEBUT ALBUM BY ROXY MUSIC ON THE PINK RIM ISLAND LABEL.
IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND PLAYS WITHOUT ANY MAJOR FAULTS.
THE VINYL HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR MANY YEARS. THERE ARE NO SERIOUS MARKS OR SCRATCHES, AND IT PLAYS WITHOUT ANY SKIPS, STICKS, OR LOUD POPS. THERE IS SOME SLIGHT BACKGROUND CRACKLE ON THE QUIET START OF SIDE TWO, BUT OTHERWISE THE AUDIO IS FINE.
THE LABELS ARE THE PINK RIM ISLAND VERSIONS, BOTH CLEAN AND BRIGHT WITH NO WRITING OR MARKS.
THE GATEFOLD ISLAND OUTER SLEEVE IS STILL VERY CLEAN, UNCREASED AND UNMARKED, MADE OF STIFF CARD WHICH WAS USED TO HOUSE THE EARLIEST PRESSINGS, AND CARRIES THE ISLAND 'BASING STREET' ADDRESS ON THE LOWER BACK COVER.
THE INNER SLEEVE IS THE ORIGINAL ISLAND BLUE INNER BAG WHICH IS INTACT BUT HAS SOME AGE MARKS.
A VERY COLLECTABLE AND INCREASINGLY RARE SEVENTIES ROCK ALBUM WHICH DESERVES TO HAVE A PLACE IN EVERY SERIOUS COLLECTION.
