You are bidding on this ultra rare Roy Ayers/Fela Kuti 12" 33rpm of Unknown Soldier on Uno Melodic Records, produced by Roy Ayers Ubiquity.

As most Roy Ayers fans know The label "Uno melodic" is most sought after with the likes of Sylvia Striplin, Ladies of the Eighties and Bobbi Humphries but to name a few, but when you get gems like Ethel Beatty "I know you care" and Fela Kuti "Unknown Soldier" up for sale you take note! As these rarely come on E-Bay.

For those who need info on this great label and record listen up!

Roy Ayers toured Nigeria with the late Fela in 1979, then in 1980 set up Uno Melodic Records and Gold Mink records, starting with the LP Ladies of the Eighties "Eighties Ladies" UM-0001 and Sylvia Striplin "Give me your love" the next album was the Fela Kuti "Unknown Soldier" UM-0002 although only two tracks (33rpm) it was named as an album, other albums were made over the next few years from Roy including "Drivin on up", "Siver vibrations and Lots of love also 1981 came the album "Interlude" by Justo Almario.

Cover excellent with only slight wear on one corner
