DESCRIPTION:1973 Im-Hotep Records CS-030, this is an original US pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the super rare Roy Brooks And The Artistic Truth LP "Ethnic Expression". 5 song date finds Brooks joined by Olu Dara, Hamiet Bluett, Reggie Workman, Joseph Bonner, Black Rose, Eddie Jefferson, Cecil Bridgewater, Sonny Fortune, John Stubblefield, Hilton Ruiz, Ricjard Landrum, and Lawrence Williams.
Condition: VERY SOLID COVER. NO SPLITS. VERY LIGHT RING WEAR AND WEAR ON THE EDGES --VG/VG+
RECORD HAS NICE GLOSS. NO LOUD CLICKS OR POPS.LIGHT SPINDLE MARKS AND LIGHT MARKS ON THE WAX. GREAT SOUND AND GREAT PERFORMANCE. PLAYS VG+

I've added three new pictures. This private press is a thin vinyl pressing with a flat red label. The spindle marks that indicate some moderate use are visible while looking at an angle. The quality of the paper on the label makes spindle marks more visible, not like higher quality pressings and labels . The spine has more wear than the edges, but there are no splits. You have a sticker on the front and some darkening on the back near the mouth (see picture). I graded the cover vg/vg+ which I think is a reasonable grade for a cover that still has it's edges and spine intact, but has wear. If there were any splits I would call this solid vg.
The vinyl has some light marks and scuffs that indicates moderate use, but has no affect on the playing of the record. Very light surface noise at the begining of the record. The performance is live so there are not many soft passages in between songs. No loud pops or clicks. Very enjoyable play back.
