Folk legend Harper – often refered to as a counterculture icon – was known to people in the know……name-checked by Led Zeppelin in the song ‘Hats Off to Roy Harper’, and on this album Jimmy Page provides uncredited electric guitar on ‘The Same Old Rock.’ He was also an influence on ‘Hunky Dory’ era David Bowie, who would also return the favour, covering Harper's ‘Highway Blues’ in 1973. And with Pink Floyd he recorded ‘Have a Cigar’, which featured Harper on lead vocals.

The record is in very good condition. Mega-light removal lines seen under strong light. The unlaminated sleeve has a little wear and edge wear, that’s all.
