 'Valentine' is a collection of mainly love songs that were written during the ''Stormcock'' & ''Lifemask'' period.
Has contributions from Jimmy Page, Keith Moon, Ronnie Lane, Ian Anderson, Pete Sears and Max Middleton, with orchestral arrangements by David Bedford.

Roy Harper's 7th album first released 1974 by Harvest Records.

A lovely UK Original 1st Pressing copy of Roy Harper's ''Valentine'' LP complete with the originall booklet which only came with the 1st Pressing.

The record itself has probably been played only once since new and is totally perfect except for a couple of extremely light surface marks caused by the paper inner sleeve.

ORIGINAL ''GARROD & LOFTHOUSE LTD'' COVER
Features carbon portrait of Harper erasing himself with a rubber drawn by Joe Petagno of Hipgnosis.
The original single cover is in superb condition with the pink heart (removed on later pressings) on the front still vibrant.
Printed at bottom ''DEDICATED TO: BONZO, JIMMY, JOHN PAUL AND ROBERT''
The 4 Members of Led Zeppelin of course with whom Roy had such close connections.
Perfect other than just light storage wear.
COVER IS GRADED GRADED MINT/MINT-

ORIGINAL LYRIC BOOKLET
ONLY ISSUED WITH 1ST PRESSING
The lyric booklet has a few light creases but is otherwise perfect.
The fragile cut-out heart 'window' to the front cover is in absolutely perfect condition.

All LP covers were stored in the highest quality plastic sleeves and the records stored in separate archival white inners out of the cover to prevent damage to the original sleeves and ring wear of the record through to the original cover.
