Up for sale in this auction is a rare original 1962 white label promotional copy of Roy Haynes Quartet's LP, "Out Of The Afternoon". Great copy of this hard to find promotional record! Released in mono by Impulse! in 1962. This is a promotional copy as denoted by the white with black ink center labels. Vinyl is rated (visually and audibly) at VG+ with only extremely minor and superficial paper scuffs present. Sounds great playing through with no skips or endless loops present. Completely clean center labels. Jacket has only extremely light wear around the edges and corners, and the seams are all strong and corners very sharp. Some very light ringwear present. Jacket is rated at VG+ conservatively. A very nice copy of this hard to find record!

• M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
• M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
• NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
• VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
• VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
• VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
• VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
• G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
