Description
This is an auction for a rare EP, Roy Orbison, Only The Lonely.
This was released by London records in the 1960s and has catalogue number REU 1274. I think this is the 2nd pressing as Monument are mentioned both on sleeve and label, if so this was pressed in 1964.
Condition: The sleeve has some light discolour marks, a few tiny lamination creases and a slight impression of the record showing through the sleeve. Edges ex, no tears, mouth ex, a nice example and graded at VG+. Please check the pictures for clarifiacation.
Both labels are clean other than some spider spindle trails that can be seen on each side. The centre hole is fine and shows little sign of wear. Again please check the pictures.
The vinyl retains its near new shine. Under closer examination a few feather scratches can be seen, this could also do with a clean as a couple of finger marks can also be seen.
This record has been play tested.
Both sides play through almost perfectly with perhaps one or two tiny crackles only, this may just be dust as this is so quiet and only just picked up on my system. Despite the numerous spindle marks the vinyl has no signs of wear as the music itself plays strong through out with no fading, dragging or distortion of any kind. This plays as Near mint but has the appearence of a VG record. So ill cut it in half and grade this at VG+.
