ROY ORBISON - "SWEET AND EASY TO LOVE" B/W "DEVIL DOLL" SUN 265 1957 US ORIGINAL.
I am thinning out my lifetime collection of records, cds, books, vintage clothing, vintage household items, vintage car parts etc etc over the coming months (or years!). I have been collecting all things 1950s & 1960s for nearly 40 years & a lot of it has to go. I have HUNDREDS of LPs & Eps from all corners of the globe (Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Thailand, U.K, U.S.A etc) to list over the coming year. A rare find in the UK it seems, this SUN original by Roy Orbison (in generic used paper sleeve), has good lustre but has marks & wear yet plays through without skips or jumps, punchy sound with light background crackle. The writing in the dead wax is 45-U-242 & 45-U-243 respectively.
