Genuine 1st pressing with heavy cardboard sleeve from this infamous label, home of several killer Library jams like SCIENZA E TECNOLOGIA by Raskovich, POPSOUND N.1 or the insane UNDERGROUND MOOD. Very intense and descriptive Italian Library Score music written by RUSCIGAN, the obscure moniker behind the composer and orchestra director GUIDO BAGGIANI, ex apprentice of maestro Karlheinz Stockhausen. Outstanding and dreamy themed music by the great musician, for years believed to be another pseudonym of Piero Umiliani. The music from this LP is something very unique: the title (Social Distress) reflects in music the many social unrests about politics and society of Italian early '70s. The result is a dreamy inspired session where the artist took his inspiration from moods and vibes of the time. Amazing warmth Score music dopeness where acoustic guitar, flute and keyboards have a strong placement / languid cinematic themes / Morricone's styled Western moods / classy early '70s Italian Easy Listening touch / Experimental intermezzo and preludes with refined Avant-garde Soundtrack music with alienated and gloomy vibes. Dope and very rare Italian Library album!

You get instantly captured by the starting intense vibes of "DISAGIO SOCIALE", album naming track, with its totally killer Dramatic vibes. Killer Western inspired theme "MOVIMENTO SINDACALE" a la Alessandroni, dope cinematic music. Follows the mindmelting inspired theme "COSCIENZA DI CLASSE" with its languid gloomy vein, another deep cinematic winner. "RIFORMATORIO" is descriptive and intense Score music with lovely guitar prelude, flute and organ background atmosphere. "CLASSE OPERAIA" recalls the beatiful isolated and spare Italian landscapes; this is really one of the best cinematic cuts I ever heard. More decadent sounds on "CASA DI RIPOSO". A huge, vivid cinematic trip, not to be missed!
