Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK  pressing - , and it is in incredible play condition.. ARCHIVED FROM NEW WITH POSSIBLY A COUPLE OF CAREFUL PLAYS ONLY- IT IS SUPERB.

This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling only and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

The centre hole shows ONE VISIBLE spindle skate line, the holes remain tight with no wear.

Under a very bright light you can see there are a few tiny light whisp lines and a couple of tiny hairlines nothing of which penetrates the vinyl..thats it!

The LP was played only what appears to be very few times, and then archived since then to now- these vinyls we are listing are simply as good as it gets.. all are in supreme  condition.

On playing there was only some tiny lead in static in the dead grooves as you would expect, and a couple of tiny little feint static cracks in the dead grooves in a couple of tracks, and the whole LP played absolutely amazing, as good as we have heard!

Correct FLAT MATT  first issued earliest GATEFOLD sleeve -With the SQUARE WIDE SPINE

'Howards Printers' Wide spine version thick card design.  PROTECTED FROM NEW IN A THICK GATEFOLD POLY SLEEVE..

THERE IS NO WEAR TO THIS SLEEVE AT ALL!

No powdery white ringwear - and NO ring press hardly visible at all.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -no  trace of feathering.

The tips have NO rub on the spine top and bottom, PROTECTED FROM NEW..

The spine edge  is totally unmarked and all legends are perfectly readable, NO SQUASH AT ALL, only a couple iof light 'pinch lines' over the spine.. 

INSIDE THE GATEFOLD IT IS PERFECT!

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS SIMPLY OUTSTANDING QUALITY.
