Up for your consideration is a copy of RUSH ~Not Fade Away/ You Can't Fight It~ One of the RAREST of their entire catalog!! 1st Issue Canadian ~MN-001~ 1973 on a must have for any RUSH fan!
The sleeve is in (Very Good) condition. Has some discoloration, stamping, a baby seam split on the bottom, a pen mark and minute creasing. Overall a decent piece. Remains fairly clean and the corners are relatively Sharp.
"I have seen about 15 of the 45's and have noticed that they all have a small pressing defect on the song "Not Fade Away" (you can see it, and there are a few small pops). I read somewhere that all the pressings have this and it is one of the ways to know its authentic. Both of the copies I own have it, and obviously its in the same place on all the copies. My observation is if your copy does not have this then it is not genuine" taken from a review on Discogs
The 45 is in (Very Good+) condition. While it does show some surface marks, overall it is relatively clean and glossy. A nice piece. On side 1 * As stated in the Review above* there is very slight crackle present and the Audio sounds clean and crisp. There is however a pop about 10 seconds in. The only pop present on both sides. Side 2 is a little more noisey at first with the crackles, but when the music comes on it dissipates. Some minute crackles can be heard, but nothing takes away from the Playback. Powerful and clean audio. Overall a nice 45 for almost being 40 years old.
